The Balance Edit
Our signature treatment, working on the chin and lips together so the lower face reads as one balanced whole.

Treating the Lower Face as One Thing
Lips are usually treated on their own, and for many people that is exactly right. For others the reason their lips never look quite balanced is that the chin behind them is doing something different.
The Balance Edit treats the two together. Adding subtle projection at the chin changes how the lips sit in profile, and the two adjustments in combination do what neither manages alone.
Why the Chin Changes the Lips
Viewed from the side, the chin, lips and nose sit in a relationship with one another. When the chin sits back, the lower lip can appear to protrude even when it is perfectly normal.
Treating only the lips in that situation tends to exaggerate the imbalance. Supporting the chin first often means far less is needed in the lips than the patient expected.
Who This Is Really For
It suits people who have looked at photographs of themselves in profile and felt something was off without being able to name it. That feeling is usually about proportion rather than size.
If simple volume is what you want, ordinary lip filler is the more direct answer. This sits within our wider range of injectable treatments and is chosen deliberately.
What the Balance Edit Does
This treatment is about proportion rather than volume, which is a different goal and a different result.
What This Appointment Involves
Assessment matters more here than anywhere else on the menu.
We Assess in Profile
The side view tells us more about proportion than the mirror ever does.
We Explain the Relationship
You will see why the chin affects how your lips read before anything is agreed.
We Agree the Plan
Which area is treated first, and roughly how much, confirmed by you.
Careful Placement
Chin first in most cases, then lips assessed against the new proportion.
Two Weeks, Then Review
We look at the settled profile before deciding whether anything more is needed.

Balance Edit FAQ
Because in profile they are part of the same relationship. If the chin sits back, the lower lip can read as protruding even when it is entirely normal, and treating only the lips makes that worse.
Not bigger, better supported. The amount used is small and the aim is projection that brings your profile into proportion rather than a change anyone would notice as a chin.
No, and we will tell you if it is not. Plenty of people simply want more lip volume, and for them ordinary lip filler is the more direct and sensible answer.
Chin placements sit in a relatively still area and commonly last a year or more. Lips move constantly and typically need refreshing sooner.
Yes. Both areas use hyaluronic acid filler, which can be softened or dissolved if you want it changed.
