Lips swell more than any other area and day two often looks worse than day one. It settles substantially within three or four days and completely by around two weeks.

Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved, though we would always ask you to wait the full two weeks first because early swelling misleads people.
It is a reasonable first step if you want minimal change or are unsure. It adds nothing and simply reveals more of your existing lip, and it wears off quickly.
